Mainstream artists are using more and more underground art as part of their fashion agenda in recent years. What do you think about that?
great!
I guess I was just waaaaayyy ahead of the curve in 1986 . .
With upcoming artists in the underground scene it definitely adds a new feel to music to see the creativity of people.
Big record companies will try to replicate/steal anything they think will make them even a little cash imo
It has never sat well with me; I think it is a form of mockery.
Be true thine own self.
Tbh hasn't metal been mainstream since the 1970's? Sure, a few subgenres thereof are still pretty much UG (like the punk/death/thrash hybrid of grindcore), but I'm pretty certain most people know what metal is and sounds like.
Doesn't bother me. At least these bands are still relevant. Weirdo hairless apes that the human species is.
The underground is very shallow these days :)
I'm a man, ergo, I don't think... ;)
