Zinhle Ntsele AKA Zinnycated is a 25 year old lady born in Soweto, Shes a graduate at the University of Johannesburg and holds a BA Degree in Public Management and Governance. Zinnycated is a rapper/songwriter/dancer/singer/model. She started rapping in 2004, where she usually started cyphers in class and during lunch break with fellow schoolmates. Back then rapping was just a hobby. A couple of years passed, then in 2008 she started taking it seriously and as a talent God gave her. She started writting her own music and it was in 2011 that she started recording her own music. The people that inspired her are Eminem; Eve; Missy Elliot; Rhapsody; Lil Wayne and Jay Z. Every week she used to perform just to get recognition and her name out there. She has perfomed all around Soweto; Parktown; Newtown; Tembisa; Daveyton; Midrand; Palm springs; Orange Farm; Alexandra; Thokoza; Braamfontein; Westrand; Roodepoort; Atteridgeville and Mpumalanga. She perfomed at University of Johannesburg Soweto campus for the Hip Hop charity event in 2012 where they were collecting old clothes and toys for an orphanage in Soweto. She was part the contestants of the Queen of streetrap battle at Slaghuis in 2012. She’s been to th Ukhozi Fm rappers Show Clever unga give up in 2012; 2013; 2014. Zinnycated has also been featured on the heavywords hip hop website also in 2012. Zinnycated appeared on the SA hip hop magazine Hype in the Dec/Jan issue in 2012. Zinnycated also made it on the March 2013 issue of the online magazine based in Limpopo called Red Alert: The 411. Zinnycated was invited to Chilli M and Siya Shezi’s show Chillaz in May 2013. Zinnycated was also featured on Alex FMS show called The Mixtape in August 2013. She also perfomed at the Soweto Beer Festival in October 2013. In 2013 November she released her first mixtape called: From Sessions To Spotlights. Since then she has been busy perfoming; getting connections and busy with recording. Zinnycated was featured on Eldos FM in March 2016 were she talked about her music and the current state of politics in South Africa. Zinnycated was nominated in the Daveyton Hip Hop Awards in the Best Foreign category. The awards happened in September 2016. Zinnycated joined a new Sowetan movement called KasiRap Organisation and had their first annual event called KasiRap October festival in 2016. On the 24th of December 2016, Zinnycated dropped her most anticipated project called All About Krazy Ep. It consists of 8 krazy insane laid back tracks with a party feel. In 2017 March the Ep will be launched and the All About Krazy Tour commenced in April 2017 were Zinnycated perfomed at different places to promote her Ep so fans can be able to see her performance and buy the Ep at their own town from her. In 2017 Zinnycated was included in the Slaghuis Female Cypher and Rap your Hood which aired on Dstv Channel 261. She was also featured on Wheres The Beef #TheComeUp where she was interviewed about her music and her current EP. Zinnycated was featured in The Kasirap Documentary which was first launched at the Soweto Theatre it talks about kasirap where it originates what it is and where is it going. Currently Zinnycated is working on her upcoming album set to be released late in 2018 and will feature mostly female artists as shes very determined to show the world that women can also do things for themselves in this world of music.
