What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is my life. It literally saved my life when I faced difficulties. I started as a teenager and never stopped since then

What is your music dream?

I never made money with music so my 1st dream would be to obtain some recognition and some financial return. Of course I'd like hear that I'm the composer a great song or a great music

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Maybe I could start to work on myself first

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

There were a couple of French songs that I loved a lot when I was little

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

I discovered The Beatles when I was a teenager. They are still very important today for me. I like many different musics however from pop-rock, world music to classical. Random list (of course there is much more): Pink Floyd, Mike Oldfield, Queen, Supertramp, Muse, Frank Zappa, Renaissance, Tiken Jah Fakoly, Aerosmith, Bonga, The Doors, Grateful Dead, Jethro Tull, Procol Harum, Manfred Mann's Earth Band, Wishbone Ash, Rendy Newman, The Rolling Stones, Franz Shubert, JS Bach, Vivaldi, Beethoven, Mozart, Haendel... To which I had amateur artists that I like a lot Jim Watts, Martin Valins, Jason Mark Yates, Philippe Mangold, Pierre-Marie Coedes, Jorgestrada, Gaby Cardoso, Paco Santiago, Jaime Heras, Jacques Delorenzi, Remco Heemskerk, Juha Hintikka and my friends from Zapple Pie : Glenn Basham and Mark Taylor

What inspires you to make music?

my emotions, challenges I set to myself

What is the message you want to send with your music?

for me music is aimed to give pleasure, good vibes whether fast or slow. As an artists I try to express the best of my internal life and communicate it to others. Music is communication, sharing, participating to the beauties of the word

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

most of the time I was frightening :) But I had great times too when the audience reacts positively to the music played. I liked also to see someone in the audience that stare at my playing the bass (because this is also what I do when i attend a concert)

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

The offer of free music is so big nowadays that it's become hard to be noticed

What do you think of Drooble?

I just start to discover it. We hope to gain more exposure and a wider audience. I like what I see here

What frustrates you most as a musician?

not being enough good in what I do

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

some ex-partners still play around in y place and I go to their concert

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

if I only knew!
