What is music to you? What does it give you?

My opinion is that IT IS only sound which determines the identity of stuff. What you say, how you do things, this creates the vibrations that make awareness of self to/and/with others. This is the key to universal understanding. Like that old saying at first there was the word? Music is EVERYTHING to me.

What is your music dream?

a very personal mission continues to focus all of my dreaming...hours and hours to keep writing...good people to work with...a passion for spreading hope and good cheer.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Compassionate Technology, Sophisticated Understanding, Simple Truths.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Oh maybe Easter Parade because I can see my grandmother sitting beside me on the piano with all of her favorite Tin Pan Alley tunes.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Too many hundreds to name

What inspires you to make music?

Anything and everything. Sound is the basis of life, the pulse, the drive.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Go deeper, think beyond thought, let it happen.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Thrilling

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Endless opportunity

What do you think of Drooble?

Most interesting platform I have visited in a while specific to music

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Figuring out all the new technical connections.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I used to go out a lot more. We have a strong scene here in Myrtle Beach. I seem to frequent only a couple of clubs at the moment.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

A good musician should care more than I do about how people respond to their tunes. More analytical understanding of clicks is wise for strong growth. I tend to write in so many genres that it is difficult to identify an audience. That is my pitfall, maybe yours too? Success is driven by knowing your target.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

My friend Brian Roessler is a tremendous folk artist. The Picnic Table Boys are really good local bluegrass band. Michael Stallings local blues player superb.
