Story

Rock and roll duo from Guatemala fighting to bring back classic guitar-driven sound to the mainstream, carefully fusing modern latin beats with old school rock to create a new psychedelic experience. Formed in Guatemala in 2013, the band went through various lineup attempts and released their eponymous first album in 2019. The second album is already finished production and the first single available. More music coming in August.

What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is the way to communicate our thoughts, feelings and ideas about anything. We want to share our art with people that are fighting against the current and constantly feel that they are alone in this world. Our message to those is: 'Don't worry, you are not alone.'

What is your music dream?

Be able to change people's lives for the better with our music.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

What the world needs now is for everybody to share a little empathy. That would be our starting point, empathy.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, Jack White, Wilco, Sexy Zebras

What inspires you to make music?

The constant need to express what we are feeling to transform good or bad mood into art.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Everybody feels like they are alone sometimes, like everybody else is wrong and you are right. We are here for you, keep going on.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

We feel like everything around us disappears. You elevate to a zone where everything feels alright because you are just playing.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Most musicians struggle with the excessive amount of distractions that the audience has. We, as artists, need to deliver good content everywhere, not just our music.

What do you think of Drooble?

Excellent platform for musicians that are looking to increase audience, in a place where people actually care for new music.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

The constant struggle to find out new ideas and keep the mind flowing and the songs coming, while at the same time taking care of marketing and social platform strategy.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Taking the time to listen to the material that our colleagues are doing and sharing the stuff that we like.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Clear goals and discipline.
