What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is the healing art of the the human condition. Artistic expression is the cerebral and spiritual connection between the artist and audience. Music is life, the expression of all things beautiful, harmony and emotion.

What is your music dream?

To create art that is appreciated and shared among friends. To achieve the highest possible form of expression that makes others happy! To leave a legacy of sounds for many even after I’m gone.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

The human condition of spiritual depravity, depression and mental illness. To elevate my brothers and sisters who suffer from their proverbial prisons.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Tom Sawyer from Rush, it was the first song I learned on my first drum kit as a kid.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

I have many different favorite groups and genres. Kings X, Trouble, Rush, The Skull and Dream Theatre. My current influences include a variety of genres from Americana, Classical, Techno, Electronica, Industrial, Metal, Rock, Blues etc. Their are way too man y to list.

What inspires you to make music?

It’s the highest form of artistic expression.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

To explore every emotion without limitations.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Authentic and connected!

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

I believe musicians are unappreciated and overlooked unless your producing what the corporate industry demands. I believe independent artists are the solution.

What do you think of Drooble?

Time will tell. I think the concept is noble.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

The corporate music industry.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Of course, I attend shows and support local music as my schedule allows.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Learn to market, do the hard work and write the music you want to hear. Don’t let others tell you how you should sound. Believe in what you do and be passionate about your art. Know your niche market and reach them one person at a time. There are billions of people, someone will eventually listen when you are passionate and persistent.
