What is music to you? What does it give you?

Freedom

What is your music dream?

To touch at least 1 person and inspire them to pursue their creative passion.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

I would free everyone from their own guilt, shame and self hatred and teach them to forgive themselves for their imperfection.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

My earliest childhood memory was seeing George Harrison’s ‘I got my mind set on you’ music video. As far as ‘most memorable’, I don’t know. I have too many influences of great music to list.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Kurt Cobain made me want to be a musician, as a child in the 90s. I was also influenced to play guitar by my older brother and listened to a lot of rock and metal in that time period. My first ever concert was Megadeth. In high school I was deeply into the pop punk movement, playing in a band that opened for The Used, Brand New, Catch 22, Andrew W.K. and others. In college I finally started to appreciate hip hop, after hating it in my younger years. I’ve always loved electronic music and pop music too. I admire a well-written, catchy pop song over pretentious musicianship everyday.
