What is music to you? What does it give you?

It gives me a way to say what I'm thinking and be vague. Music to me is my way of poetically calling someone a dick. Or to self deprecate subtly so know one gets all concerned about me.

What is your music dream?

Giging, big or small. Everyone (well most) wants that big stage, I'm fine with the bars and basements as long as their happening often enough.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Oh there's no changing the world. I have come to terms with that. I'm more a go with the flow kinda guy. If I believed it could I'd say COEXISTENCE. For people to stop fearing and fighting difference, you don't have to embrace it, but don't shoot it down either.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

That's too hard. It's probably country though. (lol) I'd say "The Rose" preformed by Conway Twitty, because of my grandmother. She got me my first acoustic when I was really young and said she wanted to see me up on the stage at The Grand Ole Opry.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

I got a list for you Mr...Blink-182, The Front Bottoms, Modern Baseball, Pup, Quinn Cicala, Pink Floyd (always), Tiny Moving Parts, Violent Soho, Cody Jinks, Slipknot, System Of A Down. too many musical loves to list. My taste is big range.

What inspires you to make music?

I don't really know. I try to explain it as, I write for myself. If people enjoy it that's cool, but I don't care really. It' for me an no one else. There lies the catch 22. I enjoy hearing good things about my music. So I do feel my inspiration is pretty selfish, but not much of an inspiration. Now that you got me thinking, I'd say admiration is my inspiration. Don't feed me and I'll stop coming around.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

I'm a pissed off pot smoker with a kid, wife, and shit job, with opinions you probably don't wanna hear.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Nervous and great all at the same time. I still get chills when I hear applause. Not that I'm big and beyond the point of having that feeling, I just feel it will never go away. I'm always surprised to hear a positive feedback.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

It's a dog eat dog world. I feel music needs to and is going to go back to local scenes being big. The internet Kinda craps on that theory, But that being said, no one wants to pay hundreds of dollars for nose bleed seats and 10 dollar beers, when they can stay in town and pay 10 dollars to get into a bar and get 2 dollars drafts and get double the length of performance from a bunch of bands.

What do you think of Drooble?

cool so far. Dosen't seem full of scammers.... yet. I'm from the U.S. and have noticed a lack of U.S. based musicians, but I enjoy that too. I like hearing music from abroad. And knowing people from abroad enjoy my stuff is a new feeling.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Lack of people to work with where I live.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

yes, Even as a performer I still buy the other band's merch, I'll stand front and center and watch as a fan.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Just be genuine. I feel too many people try too hard. You just get over produced sounding garbage. More Heart and less brain.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

Check my musician list (lol) Pup is a great one, personal fav for sure. But I gotta p[lug QUINN CICALA! Those guys/he is amazing. From North Carolina USA! I played a gig with those guys and have been listening to them some-what religiously.
