What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is the way I cope with and defeat conflict. Music gives me a sense of purpose and structure that identifies my need for acceptance as a social human and leader.

What is your music dream?

To become a major recording artist signed with an independent recording budget for four to six albums. To become a star and merge the world of high fashion, luxury and street culture, film, architecture, design and brands.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

I would do away with wills. I think wills are great for people like Elvis. I would keep aspects of a will but I also would make a will that incorporates aspects of "living forever" instead of projection of traditional burial or cremation.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Porgy and Bess "Summertime."

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Portishead, Tricky, Mont Jake, Maxwell, Diplo

What inspires you to make music?

All my friends are musicians. It would be a dream to catch up with my friends and form a band and travel the world. I also like to help people. I'm also inspired by standing for a cause.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

The message I want to send with my music is about lifestyle. Who I am as an individual...my personality. I want to link with the top creatives to create art and the message I want to send are counter culture...this notion of brutal honesty, eternal youth...most profound stories...

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

I love performing in front of audiences. I'm not much for words...I like for my music to speak for itself and I like being prepared and well rehearsed...if not being around people that let me be me.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

With technology, it made it easier for consumers to make professional music. There is a difference between a professional and an amateur. I think that what could be improved are political things like allowing musicians to really be a voice instead of trying to scare musicians away because of something that might have happened to the other person. Musicians need real management and to not be duped by those that prey on dreams.

What do you think of Drooble?

So far I see I'm getting plays and I'm excited to learn how I can create a strategy to create an EPK, radio play and all the other karma.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

I need to close on my first deal as an artist. I first found out about it over ten years ago. I'm supposed to have equity. I really need equity and to open talks to make a living from my music as my profession.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I try to support. I always tweet #SF to let people know that I am in the Bay Area.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

I think a musician has to be resilient both mentally and physically.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.
