Trickster Figures band members Lauren and James began writing songs together as soon as they met in 2013. In an attic in Cincinnati, they composed their first song using a guitar, looping pedal, suitcase drum, and a ukulele. Their lush and percussive blend of dream and indie folk rock is both fun and emotional. After living throughout the midwest and Oregon, playing at bars and coffee shops along the way, Trickster Figures have immersed themselves in recording their debut album in St. Louis, MO. The multi-instrumental project features Trickster Figures on harp, banjo, guitar, ukulele, drums, harmonica, drums, keyboard, and more. Trickster Figures debut album "Through the Seams" will be released 3-13-2020.
