What is music to you? What does it give you?

Freedom of expression that sometimes words can't even explain.

What is your music dream?

Like most people to actually earn a living from creating music, but more about making people feel something.... something real and primal.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

I never think of "if I could change the world" but rather if everyone could change themselves for the better, we're all imperfect and we should start with ourselves.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

I never listened to music as a child, I only really got into music as a young teen...... when I started to play guitar, "The Pixies - Where is my mind " still sticks with me to this day.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

wow..... like asking which molecule of O2 is your favourite.... Deftones, Korn, B.M.T.H, Cigarettes after sex, Rage against the machine, The Cure, Rise Against, Rammstein, Depeche Mode, S.O.A.D, Chevelle, A Perfect Circle, Nirvana, Marilyn Manson, The Pixies.....etc... all the way to Daft Punk

What inspires you to make music?

Just the joy of hearing a melody that you've created and being appreciated by others.... the joy you can make someone else feel.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Be yourself, be free and do what makes you feel whole.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

The first five minutes is terrifying, but adrenaline kicks in and a sense of euphoria takes over and it's amazing, especially when the crowd is having a good time.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

There are a few with high expectations thinking what they have created is the best thing since sliced cheese, but what matters is if it makes them happy then so be it..... each one to their own. "Improvement" be open to criticism, it's the only way you are going to improve.

What do you think of Drooble?

This is the best thing since sliced cheese. Getting you name out there and connecting with fellow musos, what more could you ask for.....

What frustrates you most as a musician?

...Haha! the little mistakes when you're trying to nail that riff or solo... Practice practice!

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I try. Social media seems to be the way forward nowadays but ye, supporting other bands at their gigs.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Humility for starters, and dedication, if you say it, you do it..... I guess if I knew what qualities a musician should have I would have a larger audience by now... #strugglingmuso... haha

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

Well from our local scene: Truth And Its Burden OneDaySky Made For Broadway Lu-Fuki Apocalypse Later Variary Parts and Fiction Them Androids The Medicine Dolls Bad Peter CMR Signs of Ravens Caution Boy Red Letter Sunday Koedoe Indie Dog and so many more..... S.A is coming up in the world.
