What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is pretty much just about everything. It is my world - it can bring compassion, joy, and warmth, it can bring peace and can bring everybody together.

What is your music dream?

For my music to be famous.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Ridding the world of nuclear power and nuclear energy, ridding the world of arrogance and hatred.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Too many to mention but Merry Xmas everyone by Slade and Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody are certainly up there.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Again too many to mention but amongst the bands Queen, ELO, Madness, ABBA, Lighthouse Family, and M People. As for individual singers Heather Small, Lionel Richie, Katie Melua, although there are many more.

What inspires you to make music?

Most situations I find I can convert to music.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

If a piece of mine can make you re-evaluate a situation then for me my work has performed an important function.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Love it - love the buzz.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Many musicians are somewhat used - I would like to see genuine talent rewarded respectively.

What do you think of Drooble?

It's new days yet but what UI have seen so far looks very impressive and very encouraging.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Seeing the way musicians are abused and used and seeing how some relative talent-less musicians, singers and artists are made overnight successes by these so called talent shows which seem to specialise in promoting sensationalist rubbish.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I try to see local bands in the Devon area as often as I can giving encouragement wherever possible.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Being a genuinely good performer and always be willing to write music that relates to the situation around them.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

One particular up and coming local band is a six piece group in mid Devon called ELECTRIC SPANK - they have one of the most original sounds I have heard in recent years.
