Demetruis Sherrod Mondreyon Houston aka YonThaArtist was born on July 15, 1997, he found peace in music after losing his grandma in 2006. He enjoys bringing people close together through his lyrics and words of wisdom. As an independent artist he developed his sound from multiple sources, he first started off as an R&B singer, then transitioned to the rapper that everyone enjoys. As of 2018, Mon'Dreyon has released 3 projects to public(Mind Blown, Trapped in Myself, and Darkside Baby) along with one single ITMBD, but believe me there will be more on the way. His main focus is to make enough money doing music, so he can give back to his city and family.

Music is my home, music is my safe place, and without it I wouldn't be able to tell my story

Nervous at first always, but happy knowing people enjoy my musical content

Music is well diverse nowadays, the only thing I can think of improving is less naked women guns and violence unless necessary

Fear of knowing I can have a song that flops

Yes, I'll promote all the local artist on my instagram by posting snippets with their username so they can click the link in they bio

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Passion and focus, that's some a lot of these young artist including myself lack, without a passion and focus your music will be stagnate and go nowhere
