Mainstream artists are using more and more underground art as part of their fashion agenda in recent years. What do you think about that?
I honestly don't care. I've come to know a lot of good new music by people with minimal musical resources. Although I tend to avoid trending shizzle
Normally I don't think about it.
I'm still waiting for the next big thing in music that will change it all..over the decades musicians were always progressing and creating something adventurous, revolutionary and new,it would be interesting to hear how music will sound 50 years from now.
I think it sucks
The music business is always trying to find more ways to make money, this is why they are experimenting with underground genres and making them mainstream
It definitely brings attention to underground art! But sometimes it’s disappointing thinking that they mainstream artist probably doesn’t get the context and just likes the fashion part of it.
You gone make it. Just be GOOD.. be HONORABLE
"Underground" is "Main Stream". Like, "Old School" "Dope!" or any other marketing term. It helps the consumer find the product on the shelf. If you think your product appeals to a certain demographic then you cater to that proclivity. Simple "0ne plus one" stuff...
What one perceives, may not be actually true.
I don't care if an artist has a well financed professionally recorded album or if it's a guy in his mom's basement recording with his friends. Get the music out there. Use whatever means that are available.
