I'm 56. I've been playing music since 3rd grade. I love Sci Fi and Fantasy. I used to make my living playing music. Hopefully I will make some money again in the near future. Originally from North Dakota, but I have been living in Atlanta for a very long time.

The narrow artist roster that gets real airplay. Genres mean too much to most people. And these days? Arthritis.
Buying CD's. I go out to watch blues and jazz musicians as much as I can. I fix up and give guitars and basses to young musicians who can't afford them.
The ability to self promote, or the money to hire someone to promote you. Flexibility. Touring. Get your music on the internet.
