Music is what gets me through life. Music puts me to sleep and it gives me a reason to wake up. Music restores my self-esteem. Music leads me to love. Music teaches me who I am.
To have the equipment and space to record the songs I've heard in my mind and heart my whole life.
I would like us all to have no fear of death.
"This will be the day that I die" - I couldn't believe someone would write that into a song. I couldn't believe you could even talk of death in a song.
Queens of The Stone Age has been the most influential to me, personally.... All major classic rock artists such as Pink Floyd, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Janice Joplin, etc... they hold the key to my heart! Though I also enjoy music from every genre ever created.
An insatiable drive that I was born with and have never lost, thankfully. Life. Pain. Love. Lust. Injustice.
We are here to create the life of our dreams and we cannot let the visions and opinions of others convince us otherwise!
I feel like I'm getting love and attention I never had in my life. I feel I am with my family. I feel I am most alive.
Musicians reality is one of severe poverty, loneliness and struggle. If venue owners actually valued real musicians rather than paying folks with autotune and no talent to grace their stages... If more families would nurture children with musical talent rather than punishing them- that would be helpful.
So far, I like it.
Not having access to equipment I need.
When I am around enough to enjoy a local scene, if I can't make it to a show, I will at least promote them and do what I can to spread the word.
Marketing, advertising, style and art skills baby. That or you better hire someone.
