I am Thomas, I create music behind the "Busy Raccoon" name. I'm mostly a pianist, but I like to experiment different genre and compose soundtracks inspired by themes, movies or video games.
Music creation is mainly a hobby for me. It allow me to learn a lot of stuff from music production, mixing, mastering, music theory, improvisation, song writing, synthetizer programming... And it's only the start of an exciting journey!
I which some day to make some albums and play them in front of people, why not make them dance and sing. Give joy to some people.
I would try to bring attention about the fragility of our planet, it's a great (and our only place to live), and that's also the only place we can experience great things like being with friends and family, hearing live concert and other great stuffs.
It's without a doubt a rap song from the 90s from a french rapper Mc Solar : "Solaar pleure". I think I listen to it hundreds of times, because the music is so powerful and the lyrics give you goosebumps instantly
Radiohead, Tame impala, Passion pit and Local natives are certainly the bands which influence me the most.
I just like to try different genre of music, sounds and instruments. It's exciting to create things, you start from nothing and sometimes end up with unexpected (good or bad) results!
Mainly that it's possible to be what you dream to want with a little of work, curiosity and tenacity.
I'm not a lot experienced, but the few perfomance I made were very exciting, it gives a great energy and it rewards for the long rehershals!
I think small / not famous yet musicians spend a lot of time on social networks, promoting stuffs on youtube to make a living of their music. I think it would be nice to be recognize them from their main talent, which is music!
I'm still new but it seems like a very nice plateform to engage people to talk to each other, give feedbacks and grow as a musician / artist. I look forward to use it regularly.
I think it's the time flying away. I hope to have more time as a hobbyist musician to do what I like and have more time to create.
Living in Paris I often go to the "Trabendo", it's a small scene with new artists every nights!
A lot of skills in communication I guess, that means also doing things that is not music like marketing & video creation for example. But I think engaging with people and try to have feedbacks is a good start (I think Drooble is a good place to start !)
