I think musicians and any performers that make it to "icon" level have a moral responsibility to the children that have to listen to their words and music. It should lift the down trodden and inspire the inquisitive to be their best person. The explicit wordings and profanity is not necessary and needs to be banned. It serves nothing positive.
Just joined ... let me see. So far, it sounds too good to be true, and I have been warned against things of that nature :>)
Musicians that don't show up for gigs or take breaks and return late. Also, musicians that turn their amps up so loud, they drown out the other instruments which are needed for harmony, and the vocalist has to strain or sing at the top of his voice to be heard.
I am constantly called on to perform for fundraisers and community events.
From what I have heard, it is not the quality but the frequency of hearing their music. There have been songs that I did not think were "all that," but because they were played so much, they became popular and even hits!
