Life. A good reason to stay in this world while I have the chance to be here.
Sadly I can't remember much of my dreams. I guess making a modest living out of my productions would be fine.
I'm taking the Fifth on that.
"Careful With That Axe, Eugene" by Pink Floyd. I would mention the whole "Ummagumma" album, though.
Jimi Hendrix, the Jefferson Airplane, Sly & the Family Stone, Robert Wyatt, Robert Johnson, Pharoah Sanders, Miles Davis, Alice Coltrane... Just to mention a few.
Things happening on this planet, I think.
I guess it would sound something like: "Pay attention to what's going on in this world. Meditate and think about what you really are, before any speaking or acting. Then do the right thing, as far as you can tell."
Very fine. I feel I AM myself then.
I guess there are too many people nowadays who are convinced they are musicians. I might be one of them. There's too much music produced. I guess quality could be greatly improved... People shouldn't record and release a million tracks every day just because they own gears and software enough to produce them, or they are willing to sell them. Music should have a proper meaning and a high value.
Just signed up... It looks nice, hope I'll be happy with it soon.
Not having time enough for producing my music.
Not at all. "My" local scene just sucks. And I really wouldn't have the time for that, anyway.
A successful musician nowadays should mainly be a good sales agent: good looking, self-absorbed, an opportunistic lap dog when needed, up for anything, very active and talkative on the internet and in real life... Or we can try to be ourselves and hope for a miracle... Sometimes we don't even need that miracle. Our own soul is our best audience.
I should mention so many friends... And it would be unfair if I didn't mention them all! Check out the people I'm following on SoundCloud.
