Terry Hubbard

Story

Born a boomer. Started singing in 4th grade. VietNam era veteran. Inspired by Elvis, the Beatles, and other greats from the '60s and early '70s. Became a poet as a teenager. Started playing guitar a bit late, but experimentation in mind expansion skyrocketed me to a continuous evolution of musical skill and understanding. Started writing songs as soon as I picked up the guitar. Have written over 100 songs, 6 albums. Recorded since 1985. Became a novelist in the 90s after I realized that the lyrics I write were never going to be "popular." Though the world seems to have caught up with my content, most don't know I was writing about topics 25 years ago that have now entered into mainstream. My favorite music I have participated in is spontaneous freeform, psychedelic jamming, but due to the nature of such things there is very little recorded. What I have recorded is apparently too raw for the straight laced and maybe it too was ahead of its time -still. Legalize Cannabis
