What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music has been a coping mechanism from some BS in my freshman year. I had only realized I'm actually decent at it later on in the school year. Also, I loved listening to music (Britney Spears + Selena Gomez) since I was in 1st grade. I'm currently a Sophomore.

What is your music dream?

To be noticed; to play at shows + what not (would be my first actual performance), and to have support + creative friends.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

People listening to me more; letting me "rise".

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

That's a tough one...but it would have to be Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love With You", because it's the only Elvis song I still listen too since being a baby. Fun fact: I used to sleep to Elvis songs when I was a baby. A close second would be Sound of Music (the song, not movie).

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Lady Gaga! She has one of the most unique visuals in her music videos! Another one would be Panic! At The Disco, especially the older songs in the album "A Fever You Can't Sweat Out."

What inspires you to make music?

Because I love to. Hey, if Lil Pump can get famous from SoundCloud, so can I!

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Be unique by being you. Red, Blue, this opinion, that opinion; if you don't hurt anyone with your feelings on stuff, that's completely fine!

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

When I do stuff in front of a crowd, whether it be choir, or presentations in front of my classmates, I just do it. I don't sweat bullets.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Harsh, if you don't fit into a genre. "Hip Hop is showing off, and nothing more!" needs to stop. "Pop is always about drama!" needs to stop. The record companies need to know that there is more to Trending Artists than autotune.

What do you think of Drooble?

I first liked it, then thought it was going to be an MLM scheme with the sharing-to-friend, then once I got 25 karma without "sharing to friend", I now enjoy it.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Not being noticed, like any other form of art that I do.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I really enjoy Murderous Chanteus from Farmington, especially her song "Made of Candy". You can find her on SoundCloud! Please do. CT music is awesome. There, I supported my "local scene".

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Persistence, and the ability to make the world not a worse place. If your whole thing is "BOYS BOYS BOYS GIRL FIGHT!" while talking about your ex so much it starts to hinder his social life, you should try something else. Bringing awareness to gays without comparing it to the hate you get on twitter, for example. :)
