What is music to you? What does it give you?

It’s a form of communication. An outlet. something that can be used as a tool to help people in life. Something that can aid and guide people.

A song that gives people hope

I Believe by Sounds of Blackness.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

John Mayer, Jonathan McReynolds, Joonie, Jor’dan Armstrong, Raphael Sadiiq

What inspires you to make music?

God, life, struggles and joys.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

I want people to be challenged to progress within themselves. But I also want them to understand through my music that they are not alone in how they feel or what they experience. I make music to speak to people in their circumstances and show them the light.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Definitely. I stay connected to local musicians, will gig with them and we put on events together. I try to show support by putting them on to events I’ve been invited to, and by circulating their music/videos on my social media as well. It’s important to support your peers and rise together.
