One plays it left hand...one plays it right, one writes...the other arranges, one sings...the other harmonises, one builds foundations with his guitar...the other decorates, embroiders, flies ! Symmetry play acoustic compositions, mixing folk, rock and blues, mixing sweetness and energy, mixing love, dark and protest songs. Phil accompanies his voice with his folk guitar, and Jean-Yves electrifies the songs with his fx pedals. He also sings the backing vocals. These two musicians benefit from a large musical experience acquired over 30 years. The band comes complete with it’s own sound system and lights, suitable for small spaces, but can play acoustically if required. The duo is based in Cahors (Lot, 46), France, but will travel to any venue in France and even bordering countries. The band can play on all kinds of stages, from big venues to private concerts in apartments. Ideally suited to a small room with a few dozen places, as this almost acoustic set deserves a certain closeness with a public willing to discover the compositions and the atmosphere created by the sound.
Music is so important in life, giving us hapiness, freedom and peace of mind
Play my songs and give happiness to people
I'm afraid I'm too old to think we could change something... :(
so much I can't say, I grew up i the 70's where there was so much good music !
too many choices to be categorical !
music composition is not inspired by something in particular, lyrics are inspired by the world around, sometimes good, sometimes bad...
I would like to humbly open the eyes of listeners, make young people want to change the world !
pleasure and fear... or fear and pleasure :)
I feel that musicians are not respected as they were in the past. It's just consumption nowadays, music is heard as background noise, not paying attention to the message, lyrics and artist, idolized today, forgotten the next day...
After a while here, it seems cool, providing a free showcase for us.
I would like to play everyday !! ;)
going to shows as much as possible and as a sound engineer, trying to help the most the musicians that are not very skilled.
I would like to know :)
with 80k+ artists on Drooble, I'm going to have some difficulties to find another awesome artist... ?
