I am a spoken word artist. Musician, singer/songwriter. Lyricist, composer and producer, animator and writer who has gigged in Los Angeles. London and Hertfordshire. I have completed my debut album which I am now in the process of promoting and will be gigging to promote this. Am heavily influenced by jazz and Neo Soul. Broken Beats. Nu Jazz and lounge music. Randy Weston. Keith Jarrett. Alice Coltrane. Della Reese. Nancy Wilson. Ra Ra Valverde. Bilal. Natalie Stewart and Soel being some of the musicians that have influenced me over the years. Am now looking to start work on a second album which will touch on more jazz based themes

What is music to you? What does it give you?

It is the organic essence of every moment before you are re-birthed and so gives me everything I need on a supernatural level

To create a movement of artists that use 'love' to compose

Abolishing mans' inhumanity towards man

To encourage people to reach for their dreams

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Impossible to describe with words

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Get rid of the record companies that manufacture synthetically created musicians and the radio stations that promote them and give the stage to real musicians who create music from their soul

Absolutely awesome. Finally, a real platform for musicians to promote themselves on an honest level without all the wasteful hype

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Not being able to find talented musicians who are dedicated

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Yes. Review local artists, go along to their gigs. Spread the word about events in my area

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Be true to themselves. Produce work that defines them and always stay humble
