HILA aka Steven Seaton is an up and coming pop star who not only has the skills, but the personality to take the music business by storm. HILA was born in Manhattan, New York on August 12, 1990. HILA began singing at the age of 16, in his church. From then on, it catapulted his passion and drive for music exponentially. His powerful voice will inspire and energize you. However, his purpose for pursuing music is to inspire love in the world, not only for other, but for themselves. What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is the language of the universe or God. It brings out the emotions and feelings that brings us all together. It helps us better understand who we are and what we are feeling. Music gives me love because love is music no matter the genre, song title or theme.

What is your music dream?

I hope to be an international recording artist that is always touring the world sharing my music and story with the world. I also hope to use my music to heal the world and people's hearts.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

I would start by showing love and kindness to everyone I come in contact with, no matter how they interact or act with me. I will show people that choosing love is the answer to the world's greatest pain.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Beyonce is my favorite musician. Do I really need to say more lol?

What inspires you to make music?

Being able to freely express myself and my personality in my music and on stage performing.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Choose loving yourself first and choose love most of all

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

I feel confident and a bit nervous at first. But I quickly become comfortable by interacting with the crowd.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

I actually think that this site is an awesome cure to the greatest issue I see in music, which is support of one another, no matter the level of fame you have. The musical journey could be so much more easier if we all just support one another and not allowing egos to get in the way.

What do you think of Drooble?

I think it is an awesome concept and idea. But I am new here, so I will give a different answer when I am more acquainted.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

The set system of having all musicians compete with one another because it brings about unnecessary energies that I feel don't flow well with making music.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Not yet. I'm still new to my area and to also listening to more local music.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?
