What is music to you? What does it give you?

It is something that helps me pass the time on this big ol' ball. Mostly, it is a vehicle for my songwriting and recording and sharing it is my reward.

What is your music dream?

Having lots of people enjoy what I record.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Myself, I need to be more like Jesus every day, but so often I fall so short.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Hank William's " Masion of the Hill". It was the first one I every tried to sing and play.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

The Moody Blues, Gordan Lightfoot, Poco, Sea Train, Cream, and others from that era. More recently, Pierce Pettis, Matt Redman, David Ruis, I Am They, Jay Seculow Band, and I guess I should add Cage the Elephant since my son plays bass for them.

What inspires you to make music?

It all starts with the idea for the song.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Jesus is Lord and Savior

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

I don't do that much anymore.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

I wish they would support each other more.

What do you think of Drooble?

So far, it seems like a great platform.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Getting older and loosing physical skills

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I don't attend many music venues any more, most of the time the music is just too loud.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Above my pay grade on that one

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

I'll get back to you on that one
