I have loved music all my life, but had to put my music ambitions aside to take care of my responsibilities. I am finally to a point in life where I can get back to it. Music, to me, is a gift that everyone can share and enjoy.
To me music is a release, a way to deal with issue's in life, both good and bad. A way to share fun. sorrow and sometimes anger, but most of all it is a way of giving joy and piece of mind to others. Music is a feeling that comes from the soul which takes many forms. Music is piece of mind.
To write that song, that when heard, brings a person back to a point in their lives and makes them smile.
Big money. To few people control way to much money.
The Beatles version of "Twist and Shout"
Carl Perkins, Eddie Cochran, Buddy Holly, The Beatles, Trogs, The Stones, Eagles, America, CCR, CSN, Lightin' Hopkins, Keb Mo. My overall favorite is The Beatles
Music allows a person to express themselves, a way to help deal with issues in life and bring memories.
That life is what "you" make of it.
Expressive. like I need to express my music in a way that connects with the audience.
Music is constantly changing and we need to do our best to change with it without loosing our personal perspective. Change? I am not sure I could improve things. People have more access to world music and the different styles that go with that access. Music is improving with exposure.
To new to judge, but I love being able to communicate with other musicians and hear different styles.
I don't like it when people use music to push a pregidiuse agenda. Racism is a world problem that I feel music should stay away from.
I like to go to open mike nights to hear others, support others and to join with others
Ability and willingness to accept and caress technologies available while not loosing that personal human touch.
Eddie Stinson. He is creative and talented musician but unable, for reason's beyond his control, to take advantage of technology to the extent it is available to him. I also admire Dave Spring and Brian Morris
