Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, USA. Relocated to the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area in 1974. Sings, plays guitar and harmonica. Has played guitar and harmonica since 1965. Self taught. Before that, took accordion lessons for 5 years which is why he's self taught on guitar and harmonica. How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Fortunate.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

It's a tough reality. Streaming is hurting musicians' pay; what little there WAS .

What do you think of Drooble?

So far, so good.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

I was frustrated 30+ years ago. Now not so much.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

When I can. By donating to my local radio station that plays what I like hearing when I am able and by going out on occasion to hear live music.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Have someone in your corner with big $$, solid connections in the industry, and who thinks you will make them even more $$$.
