What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is one of the most important things in my life creatively. I have such a great love for discovering and enjoying a wide range of music. I love the live experience as a player and audience member. I love to talk music, listen to music, play music.

What is your music dream?

Just to be free to make the music i want and to hopefully find and connect with others at whatever level. I love equally playing an intimate acoustic set at a private party or on a stage in a venue.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

less greed

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

thats difficult, so many songs spring to mind. As a kid in the 70's I would say probably watching bands like Sparks, Slade, T Rex and Abba on Top Of The pos here in the UK. The first single i ever bought was "Wuthering Heights" by Kate Bush followed by Gerry Raferty "Baker Street"

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

So So Many, but including...Black Crowes, Clutch, Joni Mitchell, King Crimson, AC/DC (Bon Scott era) , Rollins Band, Damned, Stranglers, Led Zepplein, Pantera, Black Sabbath, John Martyn, QOTSA, RATM, Tool, Pucifer, Zappa, Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, Kings X, Jeff Buckley, Sigur Ros, Dakhabrakha, St Vincent, Neil Young, Hendrix etc....

What inspires you to make music?

What is the message you want to send with your music?

I don't have any specific message. I hope my songs connect with the listener in whatever way they need or feel.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

excited

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Don't do it for the money, do it because you have to to satisfy something deep inside

What do you think of Drooble?

Well i'm new here but so far it seems cool.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Never being totally satisfied with my performance

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Absolutely. I try to get to as many local gigs as possible. We do have a pretty good if limited underground scene here along with good open mic evenings.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Patience, good people skills, networking, talent, great songs. Luck and lots of it :-)
