A handful of years ago, Avicii and Nicky Romero hooked me on electronic music. After a short time it was not enough for me to listen to their tunes. So I wrote my first songs and music became my greatest passion. Since my first songs, I started and stopped with music very often. This has definitely determined my productions. I had to learn almost everything anew every time and therefore I saw different approaches. But most of all I made a lot of mistakes from which I could learn. I also saw that mistakes can make a little bit of love in a song. So I started to look at tutorials and do the exact opposite of what was said. That didn't help much but at least I still use some small anti-tips today. After I stopped producing for maybe the eleventh time, I also lost sight of electronic music. I started listening to a lot of rock, blues, jazz and even some classical music. But above all punk was my genre! Sum 41, Red Hot Chili Peppers and especially Die Ärzte are the bands that have inspired me a lot lately. And now, I have found my way back to electronic music. Today I get my inspiration from artists like Gunship, Tycho, Lorn, Rogue VHS, The Toxic Avenger, M83, Kavinsky, admo or The Glitch Mob.

What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is the center of my life. I use it to calm down, to think and to grow. I can't imagine having a life without music anymore.

What is your music dream?

Actually, I already achieved my music dream. It's being able to find myself in music. Besides that, I already know that some people listen to and even enjoy my music. There is nothing more that I want.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Before changing the world, everyone should ask themselves what one would change oneselve. If everyone's answer would be "nothing" then, I think, there would be nothing to change anymore.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

I can't answer this question. There are just too many.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Another question I can't answer. I feel like I'm falling in love with every musician that is passionate about music. There will always be at least one thing that will fascinate me.

What inspires you to make music?

I try to capture all of my surroundings in my songs. But what senses I actually use depends on my mood. Sometimes I'm just staring at things and the shape or maybe a color leads to inspiration. But most of the time other songs inspire me to make music. Almost always when I listen to music, I find some elements that I find just extraordinary. Then I try to replicate them and new songs are born.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

To find something that one is so passionate in that one would spend one's whole life just for this thing. For me this is music. For someone else this could be planting trees. Just find your passion and do what makes you happy! Just as I do. (:

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

In the first 30 minutes I'm always really nervous but then I always forget that the audience is even there.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

I think, this is different to every musician. Actually, I feel like there could be no better time to make music than right now. Because of the internet there are so many opportunities to reach an audience even as a small artist without any knowledge about marketing. One just has to start and keep going. (:

What do you think of Drooble?

I think it's another amazing opportunity! Thank you dear developers! (:

What frustrates you most as a musician?

The phases when I'm not creative. But above all: the mistakes that I made in the songs that are already released. Some nights I can't get no sleep because of overthinking my older tracks.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I try to buy merchandise and hard disks from the local bands and artists I like. Besides I try to help the smaller artists with everything I'm able to do. The local network is the most important!

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

I think, it's not important to reach a larger audience. It's already sooooo amazing to know only one person that likes my music. As long as a musician is really passionate there is no more.
