What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is purpose that helps makes sense of the world.

What is your music dream?

To have people listening to & enjoying my music!

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Have LOVE make the world go around, not money!

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Norwegian Wood -- endlessly listening to my mother's Beatles records always wondering why did he burn her furniture? Of course, now we know the song was written after they met Bob Dylan & Norwegian Wood is/was code. So yes, isn't it good, Norwegian Wood :-)

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Beatles, Bob Dylan, the Clash, Social Distortion, The Jesus & Mary Chain, David Bowie, Nirvana.

What inspires you to make music?

Everything & anything. It's my greatest passion and interest. I could spend 24 hours a day making music. Although, that might be a bit too much...maybe?

What is the message you want to send with your music?

that everyone has a part to play in the world because we are all inter-connected. with commitment, desire & hard work anything can happen. and that it's fun to dance to!

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

happy yet nervous ;-)

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Today's reality is a cyber-fantasy, over digitized & mediocre. Anything outside the lines disappears from view. Rating music by if it has a good beat & can make you shake your hips would be a big improvement. Rather than how many followers on which influencer platform and/or who you have been collabing with.

What do you think of Drooble?

much needed return to basics, yet in a digital form. A community based on what the music is & how it makes you feel instead of music that all sounds mostly the same only differentiated by branding & influence.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

How an artist can be over-shadowed by performers who are better at promotion, networking & accounting.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Yes, as much of a scene as there is here, which is not much. There is a real lack of youth culture in the Valley. therefore, it is more of a country-club popularity-contest scene rather than a musical meritocracy, ie. the same eight people in five different bands & one of them works at the local paper, the other at the radio station, another as a promoter, and so on... So going to shows but mostly micro-festivals where there are bands from out of town & then staying in touch online. Connecting with other scenes around the world & being a part of that also yet in a local way.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

shamelessness along with a good haircut, face tattoos, toned-body, fashion endorsement, name-producer, and an acting career. just kidding. about the career part :-)

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

the bad housekeeping, primrods, zip guns, terror of tiny town, pretty excellent, full metal fonzies.
