Music gives me joy and freedom. Music is my peace, my conduit, my lover, my curse...and my blessing. And I couldn't live without it.
That we could ALL get along in music...as well as life. We're getting there.
Housing. Is it just me, or is the cost of housing ridiculous high? There HAS to be a better way. Other that that...world peace.
Don't really have one. I was never a "Hokey-Pokey" kind of kid when I was a wee tike. I was mostly an 80's music sort of youth. Most of it. Some of it REALLY sucked.
Among others, myself. Not saying that to sound arrogant, but you have to believe in yourself, and in your sound. I, of course, appreciate all of the support I receive, otherwise I wouldn't and couldn't do this. I owe everything to everyone who supports me. They are my true favorites. From an inspirational perspective, I have musical influences, but way too many to name. My influences pertain to uniqueness in sound and style, not just one particular genre, person and/or band. My own music, to me, is admittedly hard to define. It's been described as a mix between EDM/R&B/movie soundtrack, all at the same time, MAYBE....so, go figure. I prefer not to be "labeled", anyway. That's a little boring, is it not?
The joy in creation. In making something your own.
We're all here together...my videos are deliberately color blind, and I myself am biracial, so I try to convey tolerance and understanding. Even if you don't particularly care for my music, I'm just glad you stopped by to impart some of your time. Hopefully you take something with you.
Nervous. Always been kind of on the shy side. But excited, at the same time.
Less shady industry deals and less pirating...and WAY more money for the reason for the industry...the artist.
Good platform for musicians. I've found it very welcoming.
Re-takes. All 90 of them.
I try to see local bands when I can.
Variety and a fresh, unique sound. Auto tune can only get you so far.
Me, among others...and let me explain that answer. There are MANY artists like myself that have yet to be "discovered", i.e. not "mainstream" musicians, that's why you sort of have to do your own digging, and why I can't simply rattle off names...but I do include myself among my as-yet-unknown brethren and sisters, per that logic and view. There are plenty of artists out there NONE of us have crossed paths with. Like me, they're just looking to get their sound heard.
