What is music to you? What does it give you?

It gives me purpose, self expression and the ability to create something that lasts. And it's also fun and exciting.

What is your music dream?

To write the best pieces I can, and it would be amazing if a lot of people would listen to it and appreciate it.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

There are so many areas that need changing. From poverty to corruption and to getting rid of diseases. I think I'd start with curing as much diseases as possible.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

There are many, can't exclude one. Although from my childhood I really remember listening to Sk8er Boy by Avril Lavigne.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

The Rasmus are my loves from my early experiences with music and from the times I was a teenager. I took a lot from them in terms of lyrics, musical structure and so on. Then I played in a rock band for several years and those influences really made a difference to what we were creating. Now as a solo artist I tend to listen to a lot of electronic / pop genres. One of my favorite artists nowadays are Grimes, Royksopp, Deadmou5, and some others, I think they really create amazing music.

What inspires you to make music?

It can be anything. Sometimes personals experiences play a role in what I create, sometimes I'm just having fun creating music and that's what it is. A lot of other artists that produce great music inspire me today.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

I think every song speaks for itself, and every song is different. It can be from sharing a personal experience to delivering some sort of message, I tend towards spreading kindness, love, sometimes just fun, or a great production.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Apart from some anxiety in the end it feels good to deliver something to an audience. Whatever musical work it may be.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

I think a lot of musicians struggle to be heard nowadays. The music game is now easier than ever, it's easier to record, easier to do everything even by yourself, but the media is really stuffed with content nowadays and that is an area that needs to be addressed somehow. Drooble actually great for sharing your music, it really delivers value to musicians that want to be heard compared to other services. On the other hand it's amazing to have these tools and available knowledge to make music that was really hard in the old days.

What do you think of Drooble?

I think it's great. It delivers lots of useful tools for musicians and the community is awesome.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Promoting yourself. It's really hard nowadays.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I tend to listen to some Lithuanian artists that I like. Like Vidas Bareikis, Otreya, Lilas ir Innomine. These and others are great musical acts of Lithuania, we have a lot of talent here. So I mainly support by listening, maybe commenting if that could be called support. I attend shows but rarely.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Self confidence and deliver great music in all aspects.

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

The list is long. Royksopp, Kiasmos, Otreya, Vidas Bareikis, Leon Somov & Jazzu, Lilas ir Innomine, Deadmou5, The Rasmus, Muse, Nightwish, Poets of the Fall, Skrillex, Tycho, Imagine Dragons and many more...
