About me

Hey guys I'm Shaun and I'm looking for a band to steal me away from my pretty boring cycle of sitting around just playing to myself. I've gained a lot more time recently to be able to get back into it again and would love to meet some cool new people to have the band family with again. I used to play rythem/lead guitar with my friends up north and for a while back down here but job and other commitments ruled it out too much sadly. I love playing most styles to be fair so would love to experiment with new styles. I am happy to learn your music and see what I can accompany it with. pretty laid back and love a good laugh hah probably extremely immature for my age but it hasn't hurt up to now hah take it easy guys hope to hear from some good bands soon.

What is music to you? What does it give you?

It used to be an escape and fix for my adhd growing up now its more like the blood in my veins giving me the freedom to keep going, any time theres a good or bad moment in life there is music to make it even better. A universal language

What is your music dream?

To make music that brings people together instead of tearing people apart into a great divide.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Bringing equality instead of the 99% having to put in the graft and act like they are grateful for the oppourtunity from the 1%

What inspires you to make music?

When my dad heard my old band play up north and me practicing he believed theres something there so invested in me an amplifier and a better guitar to help me hold on to it. Music is all I know and all my heart and passion I can't function without it.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

An awakening, a bringing together of people and my own acceptance to the world

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Terrified and excited all in one start shakey and then drift into one of the greatest experiences of my life

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Stop listning to bullshit pop artiats and make music real and meaningful again!!!! Fuck Justin Beiber, fuck, X-factor and all those other mainstream lets sing about asses and bitches and make something that actually gets the world thinking about the important things going on in reality!

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Really insane and out there time signitures thar are so addictive to figure out lol

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Not for a while I've been working far too much

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Be loud, fun, emotional and exciteable all in your own crazy way. People like raw emotion its what drives them. Give your music meaning and passion and the crouds will follow
