What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is my fuel. When I'm not listening, I'm playing.

What is your music dream?

I'd love to be able to really create in impact on people's emotions through my music.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

I'd start with making the people who are able and trying more capable to achieve their goals.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Morning of my Life - Simon and Garfunkel

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Geesh... Jack Johnson, Ben Howard, Metallica, Ozzy, Dave Matthews, Neil Young, Stephen Stills, Bob Dylan, etc.

What inspires you to make music?

Life inspires me. Everything that happens to me or around me is an inspiration for my music.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

I love telling stories. I want you to feel something. I want you to know something new. I want you to understand yourself and others better. I want you to tell your own story through my music.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

I love being able to make people smile or dance or even just tap their finger. I'm not there for admiration. I'm there to create an effect.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

I don't really like the way modern pop/rap/hip hop is going. Lots of songs about partying and sex and drugs. It's a far cry from the story of the Hurricane or Stairway. Music used to communicate a lot more than it does today.

What do you think of Drooble?

I think it's a good idea and I really hope it takes off.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

The general lack of support that indie artists get. Most of the general public only buy the big artists' music, and singles at that. Its a tough world for the indie artist today. Money is no longer made on music sales because streaming has taken that from us. And making money on streaming requires that you are a big star with thousands and thousands of streams.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

Yeah! I go to shows, buy their music, support them online, share their stuff, suggest their music to my friends, etc.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

It's very much who you know, and secondary to that is how much money you can spend on the endeavor. You need to be brave. You need to have a thick skin. But you also need to have fun. What a combination!
