Santoz is a singer, composer and beatmaker, born in Rio de Janeiro. The artist has influences ranging from roots samba, Cuban music and his work focuses on North American black music. In 2015 he released 3 EPs in a work that covers different styles such as R&B, Funk, Soul without leaving out the flavor of Brazilian music, followed by the release of Studio Session Vol. 1 in 2016, which is a live record of the performance in singer's studio accompanied by his band. In 2018, he released the song Dinheiro é prestige, a samba of his own, and in partnership with the audiovisual producer Free Dation (Angola), in 2019 he released the music video for the song Me permit, with the clip recorded at the Selina hotel in Lapa. In addition to being a singer, Santoz is a bartender. In 2020, combining music and cocktails, he created the Cocktails & Sessions channel, where he welcomes other singers and musicians to talk about their careers and live sessions with guests. Ana is the first single released by the artist in 2023 in a work that mixes Afrobeat from Nigeria with percussive elements from Bahian music.
