Suffolk born songwriter Sam Cawdell writes songs that speak from his experiences shared by many people across the world, such as a suburban adolescence, moving halfway across the country to study, and all the highs and lows that come with it. With unflinching and sometimes brutally honest lyrical themes, Sam is able to blend the sounds of his Classic Rock and Blues upbringing with the more contemporary electronic-based elements heard in modern music. His years of gigging in small town scenes honed his skills and work rate, culminating in the formation of acclaimed blues-rock band KeloDown, where his songwriting abilities are prominently demonstrated throughout their catalogue, including their BBC introducing featured debut single, Breakin’ Off.
