Music is a particularly human thing. Humans love drum beats, and bass, and melody. It has the ability to make individuals think about the world around them, and emotions that others may have. Music has effected me more than any singular thing, bands and songs have changed my whole way of thinking and how I view the world, and if I can do that to at least one person, then the 14 years I've put into learning my instrument are worth it alone, not to mention the fact that playing gives me personal gratification.
