I started playing guitar at 12, now I´m 53 in 2021. Have always loved music. I was born in Caracas, Venezuela. Catholic. Happily married, and we have one son (age 23 now). Very bad time in Venezuela since 2015. Music is my "other" world to escape. Love old Range Rovers (Classic),1968 Ford Mustangs, and Les Paul guitars.
Music has been, and still is, my other world. Words fail to describe it.
I´d love to have a little studio with my guitars, a bass, drums, keyboard/piano and a violin, to write and produce my songs.
That´s a very big question. But above all, to love God.
Meco´s Star Wars theme.
The Beatles, Bon Jovi, Journey.
The thrill that it can produce in you.
To love music.
Very nervous. I´ve only played at church for a few months, and I always felt nervous.
Well, on one hand, things are much easier than before in many aspects. Almost anyone can produce a good sounding album in their houses - although not everyone is a good music producer hehe -; but at the same time, is very difficult to shine out there with so many musicians showing up. They have to build their own niche. You don´t get promoted so easily.
I´m still learning about this site, but I think is a ggod platform to know other musicians and to get our music out there. Melina had a good idea with this.
Not being able to play and practice enough, because the job that pays the bills eats almost all the time for that, along with my daily normal things.
Well, the music scene here in Venezuela has suffer a lot, not only because of the pandemia, but because of the system that´s running the country. Hyperinflation eats all your resources, so, for most venezuelans, themain focus are house and food. Little or no money left for going to the few music shows.
It always has to be to make good music. And then, to have lots of patience to build their way through the social media network. It´s easy to get in, but very hard to make it through.
