I'm just a red blood, blue collar, son of the working class. I work hard. I raise babies. I pay bills. I make music. Just like everyone else.

What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music is the lifeblood and the vessel. Know music, know life. No music, no life.

What is your music dream?

I want to write, record and produce music for film. I want to produce other artists. I want to share my music with anyone and everyone who feels the same way about music as I do.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

I'd get rid of money.

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Coward Of The County by Kenny Rogers.

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

Steve Earle, Colter Wall, Brandi Carlisle, Jason Isbell, Reckless Kelly, City And Colour, Joshua James, Justin Townes Earle, Johnny Cash, Kris Christopherson, Janes Addiction, Soundgarden, Chris Cornell, Dave Groll, Shooter Jennings.

What inspires you to make music?

Life.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

We are all in this thing together. Like it, or not.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Uncomfortable.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

I think in music, like in every other capitalist business setting known to man, there are those in control, there are those out of control. The trick is in perception.

What do you think of Drooble?

We'll see. It's early yet.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Not being talented enough or able to translate what I hear in my head.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

EMPHATICALLY, YES! I frequent local venues and support local artists. It is ground zero. Everything builds from there. Nationally touring acts pick and choose their destinations, based upon support of the arts and music, whether they admit it not. Everything begins and ends with local support.

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

Just be humble. Be honest with yourself and with your perspective audience. In the long run, fakes fade away, but the real ones never burn out,

Share some awesome artists that we’ve never heard of.

Meantooth Grin, Blackwater Delta, Dead South, Alice Wallace, Half Deaf Clatch, The Bonnevilles, BRMC, Corb Lund, Francesca Browne, Francine Reid, Lee Ann Womack, Hickman - Dalton Gang, The Railbenders
