Working...
My first love. Without it, life is just a hollow existence.
At this moment hoping, even expecting to get a Saturday Night Live Gig. Prob not with songs as posted on Drooble. Otherwise, doing things I love to do, writing and music and getting paid enough.
On a realistic scale, making sure all had access to healthcare and access to education. All had access to proper food and nutrition. I think the world would slowly change itself with these things.
John Denver 'Rocky Mountain High.' First song I ever performed, in a fifth-grade class.
WIll need to come back to this. Too many.
I am a very quiet and reserved person. Music allows self-expression on a very deep level. And I am gratified when I can reach or touch people with my writing and music production.
Mostly hoping to send out a positive vibe with things many relate to personally.
Sometimes fear but mostly grabbing and silencing an audience with my work. It's Awesome.
IMO, technology has allowed a lot of talented people to get out there and be heard. It also has allowed people in developmental stages to be out there that are not really ready for Prime TIme IMO.
Enjoying Drooble a great deal. It's encouraging and lets me encourage others, or so I hope. It's a place where we can all get better.
Real life and doing music are often two different things. Real life can easily steal music away or bleed it badly.
There is no local scene here. I was never one for clubbing and seeing live bands that much. I am sort of an isolated nerd type to be honest. I do help others as much as possible, which is into 1000s of hours of free work now.
Not so different than my old days. Quick to the hooks, engaging work, lots of focus on image matters more than it should, still. Knowing you're a hit and going viral online is pretty much the same thing nowadays.
Mat Getsi, several on Drooble. I will come back to this.
