I've been a music fan all my life. I remember the early 60s and my sisters spinning rock and roll on a portable turntable in our basement. I must have memorized every Beatles song recorded! Then so much more. In the early 70s and ever since I was a rabid Bowie fan. Let me tell you, in the central US, that was not too popular but I still spread the word about the greatest musician on Earth! I've played guitar since my early teens and done recordings for years, starting on a Sony sound-on-sound reel to reel. Now I'm pretty proficient at digital recording. It's a great hobby. I hope you like my tunes. I'll listen here and give feedback as well!
Stated simply: "the soundtrack of my life." Whether listening or playing, music is a thread that travels through all of us. A heavenly wavelength that connects us to the past, present and future.
In my dreams, I meet the music heroes who helped me define my role in this world.
World peace dude, what else?
Probably Incense and Peppermints by the Strawberry Alarm Clock.
Bowie, Beatles, Lou Reed, Led Zep...so many others.
The vibration of my guitar against my body. Seeing something beautiful that I want to play and write about.
Hope.
Nervous but once into it, I feel great.
Hasn't changed. Play for yourself first. If others like it, great. If not, just keep playing.
so far so good.
My own limitations.
sometimes but I'm older now and not one to go to clubs and bars anymore.
