Rodrigo “Lulo” Oyarzun nació en la ciudad de Neuquén Capital el 14 de setiembre de 1994. A la edad de nueve años, despertó en él un interés por convertirse en músico. Comenzó a estudiar batería, pero al poco tiempo las cuatro cuerdas del bajo vibraron dentro suyo y en ese viaje se encaminó. Enfocado en el instrumento, le dedicó tiempo y energía, hasta que por fin a los 16 años integró la primer banda: “Choco´s Blues”. Una agrupación de blues eléctrico con la cual tocó durante cuatro años. Sus show´s fueron llevados a cabo en muchos de los bares de esta ciudad, incluso formaron parte de festivales como “Ciclo de Festivales en el Teatro del Viento” (Años 2011 y 2012); “1° Festival de Blues del Alto Valle” (Año 2013); “Neuquén Vive la Música” (Año 2013) y el “Festival Internacional de Blues en la ciudad de Pergamino” (Año 2013). Con este trío, organizaron también producciones propias, de manera independiente y de trabajo autogestivo, con las cuales lograron traer a estas tierras patagónicas músicos de renombre nacional e internacional, tales como Claudio Gabis (Guitarrista de Manal y la Pesada del Rock); Alejandro “El Negro” Medina (Bajista de Manal); Javier Martinez (Baterista de Manal); Luis Robinson (Armóniquista de Pappo´s Blues y fundador de la Mississippi); Cristina Dall (Tecladista y cantante de Las Blacanblus); Willy Quiroga (Bajista y cantante de Vox Dei); Circo Paranoico (Agrupación surgida luego de la disolución de los Ratones Paranoicos); Black Amaya (Baterista de Pescado Rabioso y Pappo´s Blues), entre otros. A fines del 2013, con dieciocho años, Rodrigo se retira de aquel trío para embarcarse en proyectos que le permitieron armar varias agrupaciones. Primero fueron “Los Sharko´s”, banda que homenajea a grandes guitarristas de rock y de blues. Fundó ese mismo año la agrupación “Apolo” con la que componían temas propios bajo el sello del jazz, el funk, el candombe, entre otros ritmos latinos y populares. Para principios del 2014, el Lulo se unió a “Syderal”. Tiempo después y junto al guitarrista Rafo Grin y el baterista Mariano Iglesias, crean “Los Carposaurios del Valle”, banda homenaje a uno de los guitarristas pilares en la historia del Rock Nacional: Roberto Anibal “Pappo Napolitano”. También fundó “Casette”, agrupación con la que hacían tributos del Rock Nacional y “Gran Sifón”, power trío que hasta la fecha compone e interpreta Rock Pesado. Se suma a este año, un esporádico paso por las bandas “Corvette” y “Adagio”. Ese mismo año, Oyarzun organiza el primer encuentro de músicos de renombre del valle, al que tituló “Lulo & Amigos” y con el que viene trabajando anualmente. Entrado el año 2015, Lulo se emprendió en un trío de Hard Rock y Rock Progresivo llamado “Zapata – Oyarzun – Olivieri Trío”. Al poco tiempo forma junto al guitarrista Alfredo “Negro” Lopez la banda de Blues “The Black Seasons” y participó en diferentes agrupaciones de renombre en el sur de nuestra Patagónia, tales como “Damián Duflos Band”, “Nico Smoljan”, “Rafo Grin y los Mortales Pasajeros”, entre muchos otros. En la actualidad, muchos de aquellos proyectos siguen vivos y rockeando como “Gran Sifón” y “Syderal” (bandas con las que está encaminado entrar a los estudios y grabar material discográfico). También se desempeña como docente, beta que comenzó a mediados del 2014, y se encuentra en plena producción de su primer material discográfico como solista, con la idea de grabar un repertorio que recupere temas de sus anteriores bandas y canciones compuestas en diferentes etapas de su carrera musical que no han llegado a ser tocadas en vivo. A principios de este año fundó el trío de “Kilómetro Rock”, una agrupación que explora el género en su acepción más pesada y rockera. Con sus 22 años, Rodrigo “Lulo” Oyarzun se ha ganado un lugar de respeto y admiración en la escena musical de Neuquén y el Alto Valle. Ha sembrado una imagen fuerte incluso, dentro de la música nacional, recibiendo críticas positivas de músicos de importancia histórica en este, el Rock Nacional Argentino. With this trio, they also organized their own productions, independently and self-managed work, with which they managed to bring to these Patagonian lands musicians of national and international renown, such as Claudio Gabis (Manal Guitarist and La Pesada del Rock); Alejandro "El Negro" Medina (Manal Bassist); Javier Martinez (Manal Drummer); Luis Robinson (harmonist of Pappo's Blues and founder of the Mississippi Blues Band); Cristina Dall (Keyboardist and singer of Las Blacanblus); Willy Quiroga (Bass player and singer of Vox Dei); Circo Paranoico (Grouping arisen after the dissolution of the Ratones Paranoicos); Black Amaya (Pescado Rabioso Drummer and Pappo's Blues), among others. At the end of 2013, at the age of eighteen, Rodrigo retired from that trio to embark on projects that allowed him to assemble several groups. First they were "The Sharko's", band that honors great guitarists of rock and blues. He founded that same year the group "Apolo" with which they composed their own songs under the label of jazz, funk, candombe, among other Latin and popular rhythms. By early 2014, Lulo joined Syderal. Later, together with guitarist Rafo Grin and drummer Mariano Iglesias, they created "Los Carposaurios del Valle", a tribute band to one of the guitar players in the history of the Argentinian Rock: Norberto Anibal "Pappo" Napolitano. He also founded "Casette", grouping with which they made tributes of the National Rock and "Gran Sifon", power trio that to date composes and interprets Heavy Rock. It joins this year, a sporadic passage through the bands "Corvette" and "Adagio". That same year, Oyarzun organized the first meeting of renowned musicians of the valley, which he named "Lulo & Amigos" and with whom he has been working annually. Entered the year 2015, Lulo was embarked on a trio of Hard Rock and Progressive Rock called "Zapata - Oyarzun - Olivieri Trio". Soon after, he formed with the guitarist Alfredo "Negro" Lopez the band of Blues "The Black Seasons" and participated in different groups of renown in the south of our Patagonia, such as "Damián Duflos Band", "Nico Smoljan", "Rafo Grin and the Mortal Passengers, "among many others. Currently, many of those projects are still alive and rocking like "Gran Sifon" and "Syderal" (bands with which it is directed to enter the studies and to record record material). He also works as a teacher, which began in mid-2014, and is in full production of his first record as a soloist, with the idea of recording a repertoire that retrieves songs from his previous bands and songs composed in different stages of his Musical career that have not come to be played live. Earlier this year he founded the trio of "Kilómetro Rock", a group that explores the genre in its heaviest and rocker sense. With his 22 years, Rodrigo "Lulo" Oyarzun has earned a place of respect and admiration in the musical scene of Neuquén and the High Valley. He has sown a strong image even within national music, receiving positive reviews from musicians of historical importance in this, the Argentine National Rock.
