What is music to you? What does it give you?

Music lifts my spirits, like songbirds filling the sky.

What is your music dream?

To be the best person and artist I can be, to live in the pocket of creativity I have created, to build my craft and to maximize my potential on Earth.

If you could change the world - what would you start with?

Promoting a change of vision for the world, where people are optimistic, peaceful and they care for each other and the environment

Which is the most memorable song from your childhood?

Hit The Road Jack

Who are your favorite musical artists or bands?

I like all music, especially roots-based jazz with a combination of musical voices, most of which sound acoustic, but not necessarily all. My playing seems to fit the Americana genre most of all. I am currently listening to a lot of progressive bluegrass and vocal jazz. The Punch Brothers, Steve Earle, Poor Man Poison, Dead South are some of the bands I've been listening to recently.

What inspires you to make music?

Some other worldly compulsion to hear my voice and stories in songs. To soar in those moments of bliss when it all comes together. When I find the groove, settle into the pocket and tell my story through songs, words, and visions.

What is the message you want to send with your music?

Find peace with yourself and share it with the world.

How do you feel when you perform in front of an audience?

Most of the time, like I belong there.

How do you see the musicians’ reality nowadays? What could be improved?

Mostly Do-It-Yourself. More money in the distribution chain would help. Encouraging people to jam and sing together at home always has positive results.

What do you think of Drooble?

Just getting back into the flow after a long vacation. I like the personal touch. It facilitates the expression of ideas.

What frustrates you most as a musician?

Not much these days. Maybe not being able to play daily for some unexpected reason.

Do you support your local scene as a fan? How?

I go out when I have friends with me. I don't do too much as a single anymore since I stopped drinking which was quite a while ago. If I know the band and they are one of my favorites, I'll pay for the show and go single.,

What qualities should a musician nowadays have in order to get their music heard by a larger audience?

You need to be competent as a musician for what you do, and you need marketing skills and accounting skills.
