My story begins on a deserted island, where my parents were stranded. I was conceived after a bad fight over a coconut lead to passionate make up sex. I owe my music abilities to a small primate named fred I befriended as a child. We would gather the skulls of dead animals and beat on them, each one had it's own distinct sound. When fred died I honored him by playing on his skull relentlessly as I cried out in pain. I fashioned a makeshift string instrument from Freds muscles and tendons. We ate the rest of him, nothing went to waste. When we were rescued we moved to Kentucky. I joined the circus for a while working as a human cannonball and moved up to head lion tamer. The bearded lady, lizard boy, and I formed a three piece polka band but eventually it fell apart. After many bands and many years I decided to write and record my own music. I owe it all to my sweet Fred.
Music has always been a big part of my life, Sometimes when I'm about to play, I have to take a big crap first.
To hone my craft at writing great songs and let them speak for themselves in the marketplace.
I would ban the influence of corporate greed and the legal bribery of lobbying that hinders our forward progress and the greater good of all humanity.
Fish heads
I have no favorites, I like classic rock, metal, grunge, pop, motown, old country etc.
Mostly from the struggles in life and my personal growth they bring.
I typically write about the dark times in life and learning from them. I guess it gives me the most inspiration. I want listeners to see they can stand up to a bully, tell someone doing them wrong that enough is enough or move on from a heartache.
It all depends on what instrument I'm playing. I've played drums in so many bands that I find it hard to get enjoyment anymore. I recently played bass for a rock and metal cover act and I enjoyed it tremendously. I took my homework seriously and enjoyed learning new songs.
I think the reality of the times is bleak, especially for rock artists. I hear what passes for popular music nowadays and It makes me physically ill. I think most music has become shallow and soulless. There's not much with real substance that will stand the test of time. I think it's mainly due to what our culture has become, full of brainless puppets that consume garbage because they're told it's good music. I'm literally getting ill just thinking about it. And pop country? Really? What could improve is replacing some recording label executives and hiring some people with balls that will take risks like it used to be. Stop using empty hooky nonsense tracks from the same handful of soulless writers. If you're going to use writers then broaden your horizons. I feel like a change is coming soon.
I think it's a good concept and like it so far.
Not having a roadie, drum tech, guitar tech or studio engineer.
Yes, mainly because I have been involved in it over the years.
Apparently write about tits and ass or talk about weed and money. Must use autotune on every song or talk about the four wheel drive your wife took in the divorce.
How do I know you've never heard of them?
