I was born into a musical family. I was brought up under the musical wing of my uncle, Rockabilly /early Rock pioneer, Jack Scott. I learned from an early age that nothing is handed to you and a life and the title of musician is earned through hard work, pushing yourself to grow and by putting in the time and sweat equity required to ensure you bring your best to every show. Respecting your fellow musicians as well as the people who pay for your music or for a ticket to see you live is deeply important to me. I've been in the business for over 25 years and am always in awe of the incredible artistry of my musical brothers and sisters.
Life. Truly. Music is as vital to me as the air I breathe. Ok, well, maybe second to actual air but you get the point. ;-)
I'm living my dream. I am a solo artist as well as front woman of the band Rio and the Rockabilly Revival. I tour and make music and love every challenging, exhilarating, uncertain moment of it.
Reminding people that they are beautiful, worthy and enough just as they are.
Thats like asking a mother to name her favorite child. Come on now.
