Started out in family and friend cover bands. Began writing secular songs in 1969 and switched to Christian Genre in 1972. During the cover band years, I sang Neil Young, Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin and some Rolling Stones songs. Lead Guitar playing is a work in progress and helps when I record songs. I haven't had a band backing me since 1984.
Music to me is, like how some speak of having an aura; for me it is an expression of my soul. What does it give me? From others: it is medication or vitamins; some are bitter or sweet to my soul or heart of who I am.
To get the music & ideas for the music; out of my head and into a recording.
A new style or interpretation of an existing genre, to carry my lyrics to as many people as would listen, learn and understand what I am saying.
In A Gadda Da Vida - Iron Butterfly

Experimenting with musical instrument effects and hearing what others do or have done.
My main message is the Good News aka Gospel from the Bible. Even though most of my messages pertain to Christian living.
Happy and thankful to get the opportunity.
Internet brings opportunity but, may soon be too much to hear & be seen by the masses. Improvement in my opinion would be, better lyrics and less dependence on repetitious sounds or words or phrases.
Love it. Great options that, don't drain a financially challenged artist's bank account.
Unavailable musicians and singers, due to it being more about the money than, the credited contribution.
Catch their performances as, finances permit. Our local wineries and casino all host our local talent without cover charges.
Determination to get their originals or unique covers heard.
