I picked up the Harp in 1970- while hitch hiking around the United States and Canada. I wanted to see the country before I got drafted and sent to Vietnam. I was fortunate because I ended up as a Photo Lab Tech/Photographer in West Berlin in the Berlin Brigade Headquarters. I continued to carry at least one harp with me every where and have ever since. I'm a member of the Vietnam\Legacy Vets Motorcycle Club World Wide. One of my club brothers gave me a guitar and I'm going tomorrow to check out Free lessons for disable veterans at a local music shop. I was rendered disable when I had a failed esophengectomy, (Esophagus replacement) from a large tumor blocking my esophagus. I beat the cancer but do I have a great story of my struggle. .
