Before we wanted to save the world but then decided We rather made music or what ever you want to call it. We think it is music... or at least a concentration of noise in intervals of varying pitch and beats... and some singing in tune... or maybe not quite.
Music is the great uniter of mankind.
When the world ended we were all in stadiums playing and enjoying concerts and we didn't even notice. When we came out, the world had changed. It looked as paradise the light was bright, the sky was blue and the garden was endless. Everybody was happy and was having fun. And the main thing we did was teach and show each other what we had learned. And it got more and more interesting every second. And everyone looked so pretty. There was no young or old, just pretty. And I saw you, and your eyes looked in surprise every time I showed you what I had learned. And then you showed me what you had learned and I was so amazed and delighted that I had met some one so incredibly interesting like you.
Forgiveness... it's something different than we know. And if we get it right it is irrelevant.
Night flight to Venus by Boney-M. Made me want to buy a drumkit for years and years.
I'd have to say Dire Straits.
The feeling I get when I do so. The end of boredom. Excitement and surprise that I made something that I can appreciate.
I am not sure but there must be more. Maybe you can find it in here, then you can let me know what it is.
I shit my pants.
It's like photographers now a day. Before you needed to really want to be one to get yourself to make the high investment on material. But now, everyone can make a photo, and even really good ones. The idea has shifted from material to drive. It is all a matter of wanting to do it, because you can get started for a really small amount today. And knowhow is basically free out there. But you need passion to get you through the adds and stay on the right track. And will to practice. Improvement? Currently no idea.
Still having a hard time putting it into the right perspective from a musicians point of view. But the initiative is excellent. I Love it!
Finding my audience. I just don't seem able to find an audience. It makes me feel like my music sucks.
Yes, I attend to shows and organize jam sessions once a month.
You tell me.
