Ray Stylie began making music from the early days in school, along side making music he seemed to have a creative eye and reflected this through his graphic design art work. Growing up in the same area and era as Grime & Rap artists Krept & Konan, Section Boys as well as making playful records with Stormzy, Ray's organic musical influence has been Grime. In later years he's been influenced by musicians such as J Cole, Kendrick Lamar and Bryson Tiller, therefore now specialising in Soulful Rap. Ray doesn't restrict himself to only this genre, he has songs that reflect elements of Afrobeats, Hip Hop, Grime and Trap, still managing to maintain the soulful rap as a consistent feature in all of Ray's sounds. Ray has a Cross Symbol on his hat and his ear that represents his upbringing and current faith. He comes from a religious background and wants to remind himself of where he is coming from, throughout his entire career progression, as well as staying faithful during all circumstances. Ray bases his Content on life experiences, people, relationships, interactions with strangers and even random words. He done a series on his Instagram page called 'Free Stylies' which is where followers would suggest a word and he would write an entire freestyle based on that word. This will be starting up again for mid October, but taking it a step further he will Free style based around someone's name and three facts they give about themselves. Ray's one of the most humble musicians you will ever meet, with a hint of 'quirk' and 'giggles' he's a comforting person to be around, and he relays these feelings through his music and performances.
